How the real one works

The production version connects the site to a headless CMS (Sanity, Storyblok or Decap), so the client edits content in a form and publishing rebuilds the site on its host.

A CMS holds the words and pictures
Headlines, prices, team, photos and posts live in a content system (Sanity, Storyblok or Decap), not in code. The client edits a form like this one — no HTML, no developer.

The design is locked, the content isn't
Fields have limits that match the layout (a headline that fits on two lines, a button that fits its button), so edits can't break the page.

Publish rebuilds the site
Publishing kicks off a rebuild on the host; the new version is live in under a minute and still loads as fast as a hand-built page.

Every version is kept
Each publish is saved with who made it. A bad change is one click from undone.
